The main goal of the knowledge transfer consists in the improvement of quality parameters of the collagen-based products currently manufactured by S.C. Sanimed International Impex S.R.L., through the optimization of the purification operations of collagen colloidal solutions. In this respect, the expertise of the academic staff is put at the disposal of the economic agent, in order to achieve the following objectives:
(i) - critical assessment of current technology;
(ii) - selection and purchase of new technological equipment, exclusively based on the company financial resources;
(iii) - reconsideration of current purification technology and operations;
(iv) - resetting the working parameters in accordance with the new purification process;
(v) - enhancement of professional training of workers serving the technological line;
(vi) - revaluation of characteristics testing and quality validation of collagen-based products obtained in accordance with the new technology;
(vii) - collaboration with the master students.
